The Porsche Boxster S Black edition
Just over a week ago we had a Black Edition Porsche revealed as on the way to Geneva – the Porsche 911 Black Edition. Today we get the Porsche Boxster S Black Edition. We can but assume that either Porsche has stumbled on a job lot of black paint and leather, or the designer of their limited edition models is going through their dark phase.
The BMW 1 Series M Coupe revealed
The whole argument about whether BMW would use the iconic ‘M1′ moniker on a lowly 1-Series car was finally settled (not that we ever had any doubts) back in July when BMW officially confirmed that the 1-Series M car would be known as the BMW 1 Series M Coupe. And it was happening. The official announcement saw BMW reveal an official video of the 1 Series M Coupe out on the track sporting the ubiquitous black and white swirls of camouflage so beloved of car makers with a new model to tease.
We saw the 9-X BioHybrid concept at Geneva, and at Paris we can expect to see this car as a cabriolet version called the Saab 9-X Air Concept. The core innovation in this design is the roof which in Saab's words is: "a powered, flat-folding roof developed from a Targa top principle". Relating to this, the rear C-pillar buttresses are also unique.
